Bill Hohenecker
Director of Athlete and Sports Relations
For more than three decades, Bill Hohenecker has worked at the highest levels of professional basketball, building a career defined by trust, discretion, and enduring relationships with some of the NBA’s most respected figures. His experience spans broadcasting, league operations, franchise management, and the personal representation of Hall of Fame talent.
Bill began his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves as Executive Radio Producer for the team’s radio network, gaining an early inside perspective on the business and culture of professional basketball. He also worked for the NBA, serving as a producer for NBA Radio and as NBA Timeout Coordinator, a national broadcast operations role supporting games across the league.
In 2013, Bill returned to the Minnesota Timberwolves as Manager of Team Travel and Facilities Coordinator under one of the most respected front offices in the league, overseeing key operational functions supporting players, coaches, and senior leadership for one of the NBA’s premier franchises.
Two years later, Bill transitioned from team operations to athlete representation and advisory services, supporting a Hall of Fame player through some of his most significant post-playing milestones — including a Hall of Fame induction, a championship-franchise jersey retirement ceremony, and selection to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Bill also served as production coordinator on a major sports documentary chronicling the player’s career.
Beyond basketball, Bill has been a longtime volunteer with a Minnesota-based youth nonprofit organization, founded by another former NBA veteran, reflecting a longstanding commitment to mentorship, community engagement, and service.
Today, at Millerbernd Wealth Management, Bill leads relationships within the athlete and sports industry community, bringing more than 30 years of experience, credibility, and trusted connections to the individuals and families he serves.
